Tripos look like a cross between a horseshoe crab and a stingray(or is it just me?) and they have THREE EYES! How cool is that?? They grow to about 2″ long, unless you get hungry.

Devastatingly Beautiful

Care to guess at what this could possibly be? Let’s look at the attributes; it’s beautiful, hanging over the skies of California, and there’s not a plane in sight. Fireworks over the Santa Monica Pier? Actually, it’s a sign of war.

This is the trail of a multiple warhead ballistics missile, taken just after launch from Vandenburg Air Force Base. The resulting image is a combination of unburnt fuel and water in the atmosphere. Isn’t it sad how pretty we’re making death nowadays?

Although it’s a waste of money, it got me thinking; why couldn’t you put your own LCD in your headlights, and take off the backing to make DIY Projector Headlights that would actually project

So I’m awake bright and early on this lovely Thursday morning, having spent the past few hours trying to organize this blog and mainly to get a feel for the WordPress layout, and I stumbled upon this;

Tiny mp3 player

Thanko is a company that is known for it’s crappy gadgets, but every once in a while they manage to pull off something decent. One of their recent ‘wow’s has been this ubertiny MP3/WMA/WAV player. There are many tiny Bluetooth headsets, and many MP3 players that dangle from a lanyard/necklace, but I’m pretty sure this is the first one that has an earpiece integrated. Hmm.
